My test was scheduled for 5/24/2021 13:30:00 PM Seoul, South Korea Time.
I connected with my proctor around 13:15:00 PM and completed all of the necessary diagnosis/showings.
The proctor was not able to enter the password to begin my exam (kept saying "invalid code").
This process repeated for about an hour and a half. At this point, I was very exhausted and asked for a rescheduling.
The exam never began, and the proctor received a response from GMAC saying my exam was scheduled at the wrong time.
However, my confirmation and mba.com account indicate that I was there at the right time (hence I was able to connect with the proctor).
The proctor told me that I should contact GMAC after 48 hours (wtf?).
She told me that it was entirely their fault with the technical issues.
What should I expect in this situation, and has anyone encountered a similar experience? If so, please share.
Months of studying just went down the drain...

I am sorry to hear about the very unprofessional test experience
While I have not heard about this exact issue, there have been multiple reports of the MBA.com appointments booking for a wrong name/person at a wrong time. 2 people have reported that after booking their test they were presented with a confirmation of a different individual and one person reported having their test scheduled an hour later than the confirmation, forcing them to join/start the test an hour earlier just to be safe. Unfortunately all these people had to call GMAC and deal with rescheduling and wasting personal time for a totally unnecessary step.
I am hoping and expecting you will be able to take your test in a few days. Their systems take 2 days to refresh, hence 48 hours proctor mentioned. I am sorry for the waste of time and having to prolong it. Totally their fault but I am trying not to get too angry and not to frustrate you along the way since GMAC has shown no understanding of the pain that test takers go through in these situations. For them it is like an oil-change appointment for your car. "Sorry, let me reschedule you" without actually realizing how much goes into it...
Totally with you and I would focus your mental energy more on keeping your skills fresh than being frustrated with the unprofessional situation. Don't let them make a victim out of you or feel that you can't control it. You can - you can continue to refresh, study, review, and practice - keep doing that. Don't let this impact your score!
