Sorry don't have a good answer for your first question, except for obviously those you can search on DS forum under the non-math tag.
As to the approach/strategy, I came across a few articles the other day:

Hi ShilpiAgnihotrii,
As far as I know, there is (currently) no good source of non-math DS questions right now. The official practice material is your best bet.
I haven't started teaching DI yet, but from my experience taking the new GMAT, these questions are a lot like CR, so focusing on improving our critical reasoning skills could help.
