Based on this additional info, here's what you should do:
Step-1 Toss a quarter coin 3 times.
Step-2 If you get:
- HHH: choose the first school in your list
- HHT: choose the second school in your list
- HTH: third school
- HTT: fourth
- THH: fifth
- THT: sixth
- TTH: go back to step 1
- TTT: go back to step 1

Cheers!

Why did you apply to these schools in particular? What drove you to apply to Bradley or Seattle or any of the other ones?

The other factors you listed -- e.g. "good placements" is very generic. What do you consider "good"? What would constitute a "successful" job for you? Any kind of marketing job? A brand marketing job? Would you prefer a consumer packaged goods type job with, say, someone like Kraft or Oscar Meyer? Or would some kind of services marketing job be more in line with your interests, say with American Express? Would you be looking for strictly brand management positions or marketing research type roles? What cities or coasts would you want to live in? Do you prefer big cities or small? What kind of culture interests you? I could go on but you probably get the point.

Given your apparently total lack of knowledge about the schools, it seems to me that your goal was simply to get into a school somewhere in the US with the hope of finding job sponsorship thereafter. If that's the case -- and there's nothing wrong with that, a lot of people have that goal -- I'd just go to the cheapest option out there. I would caution you however that the current market is rife with internationals looking for sponsorship, and the opportunities are generally few.

Beyond that, I don't think anyone here is going to know much of anything about most of these schools, they just aren't on most people's lists. If I were you, I'd reach out to the schools and ask them to put you in touch with current students or alumni and get more information that way.

sharmavashisth,

I can't comment on the strengths of the different b-schools on your list, as I am not that familiar, but I would recommend that you visit these schools if at all possible. For example, Bradley University is in Peoria, Illinois. Peoria is in the middle of nowhere. It is a very small town about 3 hours from other major cities such as Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis.

Personally, I'm not against small town life -- many people like it -- but I don't see an international would be happy coming to the U.S., hoping to make professional connections, yet live in the middle of a corn field for two years. Illinois State is in nearby Bloomington, Illinois, which is a little better than Peoria, but not by much.

Anyway, just a few quick thoughts to consider. If your goal is get your feet on the ground in the U.S., choose a school located in a big enough metro area to maximize your chances.

Dartmouth is most well known internationally.

Seatlle is a great city to live in (I'd love to end up there).

I'm surprised Luber is so expensive, given that they're not near the top of the list.

For Marketing, I'd say either Seattle or Dartmotuh. Seattle's got a ton of large companies that require marketing kids like Boeing, Microsoft, and Starbucks.

The Dartmouth listed in the first post is not the same Dartmouth that you are referring to.

Hi there,
I'm now actively looking forward to do MBA outside India. I was browsing through universities in Canada and Australia. Planning to go for university which has low tuition fees and country must support working options too. I came through university like University of Alberta in canada and University of Southern Queensland Australia. Does this University of Southern Queensland Australia requires GMAT score? I have a GRE score of 290 and work experience of 2 years which includes 1 year of experience in citibank where i'm working currently. Is that possible to get a entry with these qualifications or a better GMAT score is required? And I also want to know about ESSEC how is that university?
I want to know which country offers work permit after my course is done. And also which university is better in above 2 and which country will match my requirements so can you please suggest me the best possible option it'll help me narrow down my search.
Thanks
Regards
Prakash

I think Illinois State University-College of Business is best among all.
