This can be solved in two ways.
Method 1:
Let's assume that x liters of Chemical A is added.
Total Chemical A in the final mixture = x + 0.25 * 120 = x + 30 liters.
As per the given condition:
- \((x+30) = \frac{40}{100} * (x + 120)\)
\(5x + 150 = 2x + 240\)
\(3x = 90\)
\(x = 30\) liters.
