Solution :
We are given,
- • a = 60
• \(l_1\) || \(l_2\)
• \(m_1\) || \(m_2\)
Refer to the attachment below.
Angle ADB = a (alternate angles as \(l_1\) || \(l_2\))
Also, angle DBC = b (vertically opposite angles)
Now, angle ADB + angle DBC = 180 (co-interior angles)
- ⟹ a + b = 180
⟹ 60 + b = 180 (since a = 60)
⟹ b = 180 - 60
⟹ b = 120
Hence, the correct answer is Option D.
