day crew loads=x boxes/ member
night crew loads = 3x/4 boxes/ member

day crew workers= y
night crew workers= 4y/5

total boxes loaded/ day= xy+ (3x/4)*(4y/5)= xy+3xy/5= 8xy/5

required fraction= xy/(8xy/5) = 5/8

Total workers (day) = Wd
Total workers (night) =(4/5)Wd

Total boxes loaded by day workers = BdWd

Total boxes loaded by day + night workers = BdWd + (3/4)Bd(4/5)Wd
=BdWd + (12/20)BdWd
=(32/20)BdWd
=(8/5)BdWd

Fraction of total boxes loaded by day workers = BdWd / (8/5)BdWd
=5/8
