Why the product of two number a and b equal to the product of gcd(a,b) and lcm(a,b)
Let say a and b are kp and kq where k is the hcf of a and b, also then a and b becomes co- prime so lcm becomes kab
Now product of two numbers = kp×kq
Product of hcf and lcm = k ×kab
Therefore product of two numbers is always equal to product of hcf and lcm
