Good course but Not so personalised

Course e-GMAT Online 360

Location Online

The e-GMAT, popular for their reviews, ratings can get anyone's attention.

I used this course for 6 months but couldn't score more than 620 (V-25).

Positive: They cover SC to the depths. Once I remembered all the rules, exceptions, figuring out any SC error was easy. pre-thinking was good technique.

Negative: I felt bad with their responses as well. Found them little arrogant in dealing with my problems. Sometimes things can't be explained on e-mails, they should learn this. When thinking of course, I was able to connect with them on video call but when I was stuck with same score, there was no one.
RC is not well designed. GMATNinja's video are far better than the RC part of the course.

Overall, it may work for someone or may not but I wouldn't recommend anyone to blindly get trapped in ratings etc game. Do speak to fellow students and figure out.
Applies to all other courses out there.

From knowing 'Meaning Based Approach' to actually doing it!

Improvement 100 Points

I started my GMAT prep with a score of 620 (Q-49, V-25). Ended up improving 100 points to 720 (Q-50, V-38).

I had known the meaning based approach but was not aware of how it is really done. I had done e-GMAT's SC, CR but got only 620.

The greatest thing I learnt with GMATWhiz was that meaning goes hand in hand. There is not extra step - 'understand the meaning' . I changed my reading approach, starting to break and read, and at same time understanding the meaning by assimilating the already read part. This felt like magic to me and pushed my V-25 to V-38.

In course, the solutions given to each SC question is very logical and helps in pinpointing the falter points.

Sunita Ma'am helped me understand the approach of solving problems.

Quant is solid. Though, it can be improved. I did diagnostic quizzes and worked on what I didn't know to pump Q-49 to Q-50.

My Mock scores were in the 680-700 range but on D-Day, I could just nail it.

If you are looking to work on your GMAT prep and tired of hearing 'meaning based approach', try GMATWhiz and take a session with Sunita Ma'am to encounter what it truly is.
Good Luck!

Score Q-X on GMATClub Tests and Q-X+2 on GMAT

Hi,
GMATClub Quant - Tests will make you ready for any fight. Period.

I learnt all tricks, tips, type of traps just after doing GMATClub Quant tests.
When attempting actual GMAT, I was very easily able to figure out traps - A, C and B, C traps.

GMATClub Verbal - Good for practice but I found the ordering of questions little off. Sometimes I have got 2 RC back to back.
But again, I took GMATClub verbal long back but might have improved.

But if you are at lower 40s in Q, go for GMATClub Quant and thank me later.

Even if you complete all the questions and learn them & related concepts, you would be be good to go for Q-49/50.
