The duration of first movie should fill up the gap between two shows of second movie. So, film 2 will be one which has one of the least gap between the two shows. Let us test the least first: Film A (90 minutes); 3:45 and 5:30 So the first show ends at 3:45 + 90 min = 5:15, and second show starts at 5:30. Now, we check for any of the films that have their first show at 5:15 and 5:30 both.
Film D runs for 115 minutes at starts at 5:00, so it will run from 5:00 to 6:55.
