GMAT Focus - 655 (93rd percentile) Debrief

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share my GMAT Focus experience from November 8, 2023. I managed to score 655, landing in the 93rd percentile. My prep journey was a compact 1.5 months, starting on September 24.

Here's a breakdown of my resources and timeline:
September 24: Started with the TargetTestPrep diagnostic test.
September 24 to October 6: Immersed myself in the Powerscore CR Bible for Critical Reasoning—two weeks of deep dive.
Aristotle 100 CR Questions: Took 10 questions a day for 10 days.
Juggled the GMAT Focus official question bank for Quant and DI alongside last-minute concept searches on YouTube. GMAT Club Quant guide helped a lot.

For the actual exam, I went with the section order Quant-DI-Verbal. Pleasantly surprised to find the real deal closely mirroring 5th and 6th mock exams.

I encountered no duplicated questions during my retakes of the practice exams.

Nice table - I like how organized it is!

What are you on to next? Masters or MBA admissions?

P.S. Interesting enough, GMAC says 665 is 93rd percentile but maybe I have been reading those wrong?

Congratulations on your impressive GMAT score and for landing in the 93rd percentile! It's good to see the dedication and strategy you applied during your 1.5-month preparation journey.

Your methodical approach, especially the significant improvement in the Quant section, clearly paid dividends. Most of your improvement is driven by Quant, directly or indirectly. Additionally, your consistent performance and progress in the Data Insights section are commendable.

It is interesting that your 655 resulted in the 93rd percentile. It could be an error or an adjustment to percentile tables (less likely) based on the data they have seen till date.
