my current status
1. I have planned to take gmat in last week of may.
2. I need religious advice so that I am able to score 700 +.
3. I have completed quant prep and scored fairly q 49 on average
4. My verbal score has not improved (> 32) in exam environment. However, during practice SC and CR have started coming good.
5. RC is really weak, though I have read lot of reading material.
plan ahead
1. quant-
a) I plan to take club test.
b) I have finished with mgmat & Kaplan (quiz) resources.
c) A revision of concepts from mgmat and recourses available on gmatclub.
2. Verbal
a) SC- I need to revise mgmat series at least twice and practice 20-30 q daily
b) Cr - revisit strategy in mgmat and revise 20- 30 q daily
c) rc- I have just started practising RC and plan to do more practice from rc99
3. awa - I plan to do at least 3-4 essay of each type before appearing on gmat.
advice needed

Hi, what I sense is that you need improvement in verbal area. Your quant score is good (IMO). You have two options
A. You go for detailed preparation of both Q & V areas or
B. You devise a 70/30 ratio of your preparation time for V/Q respectively.
If I were you (with what I learned from my first gmat experience), I would have chosen option B.
Reason: If you maintain your current Q score & improve your verbal score to 40 then you will cross 720 and that would be great. But if you get Q 51 and your V score doesn't cross 35, then though you would cross or reach 700 but a low verbal score would hurt you during applications. There is also a possibility that you go for option A and acheive what you want (Q50, V40), but normally thats a difficult scenario as to improve verbal score significantly in one month is a bit challanging.
Also, try to attempt as many CATs as you can, provided you comply the official test conditions (with locked room & cell phone off). For AWA, atleast try to write 10-12 AWA essays and dont skip AWA section while attempting CATs.

I would recommend that you take some CAT and go through the verbal official Guides. Make an error log and try to focus on what you mess up. Then go over it with your MGMAT books. Clearly your quant is solid so just practice a set of questions from the different topics a day, and spend the dedicated time on verbal study.
