The best way is to stop calculating things. And try to estimate.
Most want people for some reason, when they see a number, they feel like they need to do something mathematical with it but on data insights, this is a test of trends, estimations and analysis. This is not a mathematical exercise so if you’re crunching math, you’re doing it wrong.
I recommend to people to practice solving each question multiple ways and challenge themselves to see how few calculations they could do on each of the questions, even after you have solved it already just keep trying to reduce the number of calculations. Look at the solutions also by ex experts
