Can anyone please say the difference between "subsequent" and "continuous"? in-a-diving-competition-each-diver-has-a-20-chance-of-a-perfect-dive-201052.html Actually I ended up choosing wrong answer for this question...

Subsequent means all those which happens next to what you are referring. Where as continuous means no break in between.

I have a small doubt... If you check that Question, Can’t 1st person do a perfect dive, followed by non perfect dive and 3rd dive as perfect?

Yes. But the question says, if 1st dive is perfect, then no other dive after the 1st dive will get a perfect score. Third dive can be perfect but it doesn’t get perfect score. Only the first perfect dive gets the perfect score. Any perfect dives after that won’t get perfect score. ’The first perfect dive of the competition, but no subsequent dives, will receive a perfect score.’ So, for somebody who is participating in 3rd dive of the tournament, to get perfect score, the previous two dives that were done by somebody else shouldn’t be perfect dives.
