Such questions are very much possible in DI-TPA. Also I’ve seen few conditional questions like this in GMAT Club CR tagged with GMAT Prep

As far as I know Co-ordinate geometry is the part of the test and the basic concepts of the geometry are also to be tested for sure.

Can you give a sample of the kind or question that can be asked in coordinate geometry please?

You mean the real test or the official mocks. For your information I have personally checked from the GMAC and they mentioned that co-ordinate geometry is to be tested. And, yes check the practice ques bank in the club where you may find the sample ques. So, I don’t need to prove anything here.

Sorry, I may have missed this point. My apologies! I haven’t taken the new focus edition yet so I really cannot comment on it.

Funny how some people get offended repeatedly for absolutely no reason. Maybe thats the norm these days. Anyway, speaking of Geometry, one can expect line equations at max! Most of the geometry is just algebra in the hindsight. Where are specific formulae are used (areas of cylinder, sphere etc.), they’ll be mentioned in the question. (Except the very basic ones such as area of rectangle, square etc.)......For better information, this is a video by GMAT Club on Geometry in the focus edition -

A group of 6 friends - Adam, Barbara, Sam, Cohen, Denise, and Kate have been invited to a job interview at Company X. At least two people must accept their invites. Each of their decision to either go or not go is dependent on the following conditions:

Cohen goes if both Denise and Kate go.
Barbara goes if Adam does not go.
Kate does not go only if Sam goes.
At least one of Adam and Kate do not go.
Which of the following is always true given the above restrictions?

Both Adam and Kate do not go

Sam goes if Adam goes

Barbara goes if Sam goes

At least one of Barbara and Cohen go

Cohen goes if Denise goes
If Adam goes, Kate has to refuse to go (At least one of Adam and Kate do not go).
But for Kate to refuse, Sam must go! (Kate does not go only if Sam goes).

This means, “Sam goes if Adam goes” is a necessary condition.

terms are -sqrt(2), -2,-4,-sqrt(3),-crt(4).
Everything is clear except for cubeth root of 4.
Now you can use this simple trick.
Since they are asking for cubeth root multiply by 1000.It becomes 4000. Now check if cubeth root is less than 17.3 and greater than 14.4. That leaves -1.732 as median
