Thanks for the reply, could also share any resources to polish those strategies?
First, get a book - mgmat, powersocre or even old Kaplan books. These have been written by people who professionally teach GMAT and spent thousands of hours perfecting them. These books cost just a few bucks if you buy them used.

There are specific exercises for every component of the strategy and approach. Make sure you follow them exactly like they’re written. They were designed and developed by people with 99th percentile. Unless you have a 99th percentile, I don’t suggest you modify them. Don’t assume you’re smarter Just blind to follow them, it’s the easiest thing in the world. Practice the specific sections and question types as you cover each chapter.

For example, a very common user wisdom will be to see a step in reading comprehension strategy which involves taking notes after each paragraph. The super brilliant test taker who has not even crossed a 605 will look at it and immediately come to a brilliant conclusion that they can skip taking notes because that can make them move faster through the question, and they think it’s an improvement. They also feel really good about themselves because no one else could think of this amazing strategy to drop making notes and reading comprehension. Only their brilliant mind thought of that.... Well they never crossed that 605 and then they’re wondering what the heck went wrong. The declare the strategy didn’t work... of course you did not because they were tampering with it.

And to add, process of elimination is the caveman strategy. It’s super basic and rudimentary. I feel like you don’t really need to be told what it is because everyone already using it naturally. You absolutely should use it when it’s the best strategy but you need to make sure you use it in conjunction with using a grid so you can mark questions that you don’t need revisiting again.

In my experience the Manhattan and Kaplan strategy of answering the question in your own words in critical reasoning save a lot of time for average difficulty critical reasoning questions. It doesn’t work super well on Card questions but it slices through anything in the middle category and allowed me to move through the medium critical reasoning questions in under a minute each.

Hi, sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to ask for your opinion on which is better, Manhattan or Kaplan (generally speaking). I’m planning to take the GMAT in July and am currently only using the Official Guide (OG) for preparation. Thanks in advance!

You should be able to very easily answer that question yourself because Manhattan stopped publishing their books before gmat focus, so the only GMAT focus - ready books are Manhattan

Where do I find the questions from yesterday’s youtube live gmat test? I came across a question it asked what’s the probability that the 4 digit passcode containing one digit primes is a multiple of 12. The answer should have been 0 however there wasn’t any such option

Non repeating

Hello can someone help me with this

I was confused, I knew 21000 units would not be able to get profit. Then I tried 21001 and it would still not be enough.
And I concluded that the information provided is still not enough.

Stmt 2 is enough.
Total Cost = 100000 + 0.05*(Total Revenue)
We are told the Co. made a profit, to Total Revenue muse be greater than Total Cost(TR > TC)

Choice B is interesting here.
it tells us that Selling Price SP = $5>
Say, n is the number of units sold.
-> Revenue = 5n
-> Expense = 100,000 + 0.05(5n) = 100,000 + 0.25n
We are given that profit was made.

So, Revenue - Expenses > 0

i.e.,
5n > 100,000 + 0.25n
=> 4.75n > 100,000
=> n > 100,000 / 4.75

Calculate 100,000/4.75 this is a value greater than 21000.

Thus,
n>21000.
