Hey everyone,

It’s been around 7–8 years since I last studied for an exam like this, and I’m finding it tough to get back into the groove. I recently took a mock test and realized I have a lot of work to do—couldn’t solve most of the questions. I either got lost while reading the long Verbal passages or couldn’t recall even the basic formulas for Quant and Data Insights.

To get back on track, I’ve enrolled in the 4-month e-GMAT course and just started my prep.

I’d love to hear from others:

Have you taken the GMAT (especially the Focus Edition) recently?

What was your experience like the first time you attempted a mock or started prep?

Did you use any online prep courses or just self-study?

Would really appreciate any tips, motivation, or resources that worked for you!

I have a doubt in the solution for this question. As there is an inequality and not less than equal to zero, the equation cannot be equal to zero. But the answer includes -5 which could result in a zero. Kindly explain this point.

You seem to be interpreting it wrong. Solution for the equation is -2<x<2 or x<-5, never is it equal to 5. Now the the only option which covers this entire range is B. But just because it says x<2 x = -5 or -3 or -4 would never be solutions
