Any ideas on this?
E, non of the options satisfies either alone or combined, the condition of car being more than 12 hours in the parking lot.

Also, how is the permutation 6 or 3?
It’s a 8 sided die so total outcome for 1 time toss is 8.
Can you please explain
3, 6 depends on how many ways you can arrange the data set. No. of combinations ca say. Since data sets with two similar digits are there we eliminate sets due to being similar so it becomes 3; else all 3 different numbers will be 3!=6
We have to limit the sum of 3 tosses to 16.
Probability of one toss is 8 but outcome will be only 1 i.e. number we get in one toss.

I have a very strong method for most assumption questions in the CR: Solve them and answer them in your own words first. Then just pick the answer that matches.

I agree with you, mostly I narrow down to two options and somehow not able to pick correct answer. Even I feel time being wasted in selecting one of those two options.

Yes, some questions can be tricky and you get stuck between the options. The best approach in that case (if you have not been able to answer the question in your own words) is to dissect the question and figure out why the answer is one way or another..

There are no keywords or tricks or patterns on the hardest C.R. questions which is what makes them hard or hardest. They are unique.. there are ways to optimize your accuracy in those cases as well but I’m not sure if you’re referring to the some of the hardest questions or just more of the average ones

At an entrance test for a business course, the students score 1 mark for every right answer and lose 1/4 mark for every wrong answer. If a question is left unanswered, no marks are scored or deducted. To gain admission, a student has to score 60 or above.

A student X left some questions unanswered in the test. After the test, he realized that to gain admission, not more than 20 of his answered questions should be wrong. He also realized that had he attempted the entire question paper and had a maximum of 28 questions wrong, he still would have got the admission.

How many questions did he leave unanswered?

A-15
B-13
C-12
D-10
E-8
