Hello! I have a few questions...
I have not yet taken the official GMAT practice tests as I'm saving them until I feel more ready, but I have taken the Princeton and Veritas tests and I'm wondering about their accuracy because I missed WAY more problems on Veritas but got a higher score.
Princeton- 690 (Q43 with 26/31 correct, V43 with 32/36 correct) This score should first of all I think be 700 according to the GMAT score charts, but this just seems way too low given my high accuracy. HOWEVER, I did stupidly miss the first questions on BOTH of the sections. How much did missing the first question really impact my score if I still got such high accuracy?
Veritas- 700 (Q46 with 17/31 correct, V40 with 29/36 correct) This test was much more difficult I felt, and I missed farrrr more questions, but got a much higher quant score. Even though the scores are pretty much the same, the vast variances in the accuracy of my scoring makes me so confused.
So, I have a few questions. From people who have taken these practice tests and also the real thing, how accurate were these practices? Do my scores sound right given the percent of questions correct? Also, how much does missing the first question REALLY impact my score if I got so many right after that?
Thank you!
