I dont try quant sets. But I try the verbal ones and the scores have been howering around 29-31 out of 41. I've always wandered around to compare my scores with others somewhere. But I believe the no. of questions we get right doesnt translate to anything accurate. So I guess the sets are just for practice and simulation and nothing else.

Just havent been able to get out of that zone. I've hit a plateau. I cant seem to take that little jump that I desperately need.

I took two MGMAT tests, 680 in both (q47 v35) and (q49 v34), one powerprep 700(q50 v34) and one GMATPrep-710(q49 v38). This is another zone I cant get out of.

If I do better in one, I compensate by doing bad in the other sections. If I have a good day at SCs, that's guaranteed to be a bad day for CRs. All days tend to be bad for RCs though :(

may I ask why are you not doing the quant part of the sets? I haven't done a single quant set with less than 4 incorrect answers. Many of the problems are fairly easy, but there are also great ones which I feel are representative of real GMAT questions.

Also, do you think that the verbal sets are representative of real gmat verbal questions?

I ignore quants not because I am confident about quants but because I am freaked out about my verbal performances.

Reg. the similarity of questions, I have no idea. But if the verbal is close to real GMAT, I'll be very happy. My best scores in verbal have been at these sets.

I just finished Verbal Set # 5 yesterday and scored 36/41. Missed 1,2,7,9,32. (1SC, 2CR, 2RC).

I am about to do set # 6 now.

Back to where I belong.

Finished verbal # 6. scored 33/41. Got 2,3,14,15,17,22,25,35 wrong. 4 SCs, 2 CRs and 2 RCs.

Da*n!!! SC is back to haunt me. I am not reviewing any of the answers because I see some repeats in these sets. I'd finish first 10 sets and then review all my mistakes at once. I dont know how wise or logical that idea is, but I am in no mood to review them now anyway.

I also did Arco diagonostic yesterday. Scored 24/25 in math and 24/27 in verbal. That was much higher than any diagonostic I've ever taken. Arco looks like one of those easy powerprep types not the reasonably difficult GMATPrep ones.

I have 4 MGMAT, 3 Arco, 2-3 Princeton, 1 PP and 1 GMATPrep to finish in 20 days exactly. That's at least one every 2 days. I am certainly not upto that speed. If I take one test in the morning, I look brain dead in office. If I take the test in the evening, I start brain dead.

I'll have to take a few days off next week and the week after that from work.

I just absolutely bombed my 1st GMATPrep: 660 (Q45, V35). My Quant is where I expected to be but my verbal was just awful! How can I get a 40-42 on the MGMAT V and a 35 on the GMATPrep V?

UGGHHHH... 6 days to go and this is not where I expected to be right now!
