I'm an Indian male mechanical engineer.

Age 22
1 year experience in an automobile company
GMAT 740
CGPA 6.9/10 from non IIT/NIT college
I want to know how switching from a core mechanical company to a startup will impact my B-school application prospects. Also, what to admission committees prefer? work experience in a core company or a startup?
