Bumping this up because I'm very interested.
I come from a non-trad, quant-light background and want to bump up my quant skills before I attend a top 10 school in September. My school provided me access to MBAmath which I will complete in full, but I'm also looking for coursework that offers more depth as I have no accounting/stats/econ background to be refreshed.
I'm considering:
HBX -CORe
BYU - Online Courses (1 x stats, 1 x accounting, 1 x econ)
UC Berkeley - Math for Managers
EdEx - Essentials for MBA Success (offered by ImperialX)
HBX is the most expensive and offers the least flexibility, but I'm happy to pay the premium if that's the best course and will provide the best preparation. Does anyone have experience with the above courses or others they would recommend? Has anyone faced or is anyone currently facing this situation?
I'm also looking for an excel-focused crash course to get those skills up to speed if anyone can recommend one.
I'm based in NYC, so could also take classes in person at NYU/Columbia/New School if anyone can recommend a course at one of these institutions.
