So I've realised that in virtually every practice paper I do, I miss 2-3 questions on probability or combinatorics & permutations. When I say "I miss", I literally mean I have no clue. I have read through the theory in like the OG and Manhattan guides but I never get the questions on these. 3 questions out of 31 is about 10% and although I know the test isn't scored linearly, missing 10% just like that isn't acceptable.

Does anyone have any tips as to where I can master these two? I am quite proficient at maths. I did engineering at a respected UK school and I have been tutoring maths for years but these two topics just completely confuse me.

Any help would be appreciated.
