You need that for the essential modifier. So you can get rid of B and E. C changes the level of certainty and thats gone too.
As for A vs C. Even tough is a subordinating conjunction that used for a dependent clause,while Despite is a preposition.
C is wrong because of the way Despite is used. You wouldnt say Despite I like x, I like y better. You would say Even though I like y, I like y better

The underlined portion contains a 'may' that reflects uncertainity therefore the correct statement should also convey the same sense. - C & E are out
agree to, and agree that - correct idiom - B out
Despite should be followed by a noun but in D despite is followed by professional, which is serving as an adjective.
A overcomes all the above errors.
