Good Morning! I'd love to hear how my profile stacks up, I'm not necessarily sure where to consider given that it's an unusual one.
3 Yrs Work experience, 2 promotions (likely 3 by the time I matriculate), from Junior Business Analyst to Analytics Supervisor. I had a team of 3 analysts reporting to me less than 2 years after graduation, at a national company. Experience includes helping make decisions within our Sales Department and consistent direct contact with executive leadership on a daily basis (report to EVP of Sales). I think I'm a really strong interview as well, for what it's worth.
GMAT Score was 660. GPA at Urbana-Champaign was 3.25, Economics Major, graduated in 3.5 years.
I'm applying to a variety of Part Time Programs that are within driving distance of the Chicago area. I want to be able to keep my job here as it's been very good to me, and I feel there's a lot of opportunity for growth still to be had, plus I feel like an important member of the company at only 24 yrs old (again, promoted to manager at 23).
My question is this: I know I'm on the early end of applying to MBA Programs, but does the
strength of the experience at all outweigh the length in any way? I feel like I've gotten experience in 3 years that some don't get until they're 6 years into their career. That is why I want to embark on my MBA journey early.
Also, do I have any shot at Kellogg, Ross, or Booth (Part Time)?
Need any more info let me know. Thanks!!
