Hi mbaMission,
I would like to know my chances of top 10 B-schools?
Profile:
25 year old Indian Male based in Dubai
GMAT: Not taken yet (700 expected)
Undergrad Education:
Top 10 Engineering School in USA
GPA: 3.14
Major in Electrical Engineering, Minor in Economics
Professional Experience:
- Inherited the family business in 2011, managing over 500 employees with a consistent growth rate of 10% till date
- Started 2 further companies till date in the food industry and healthcare industry.
Intern Experience:
- A 4 month engineering internship in one of the biggest facility management companies in West Africa.
Extracurricular/Leadership Activities:
College:
- Founded a competitive dance team that took part in national level competitions and won 2 competitions.
- Was the Fundraising Chair in a Student Organization that was the most successful fundraising team in that particular organization
- Part of the soccer team that won the intramural tournament
- Head Boy (equivalent to Class President) in my senior year of highschool
Target Schools: HSB, Wharton, Stanford, INSEAD, LBS, Sloan

Thanks for posting; you've got some interesting experiences, particularly running your family business, to draw from in applications and in b-school. However at this point there's probably more you can fill in so I understand better, such as....
-did you have some experience prior to taking over the family company as well or not?
-what is your current role at the company? I assume you have a lot of vast experience with different aspects of the business from the past several years??
-how successful/established at the other startups you mentioned?
-why do you want the MBA & what are your post-MBA plans?
