Thank for the help.
I agree standing out on the essays is the most critical part of the application.
I'll make sure I put substantial efforts on that front.
Just curious : Since there are so many web sites each with their own surveys about the best B-schools, I wanted to ask which one do u think is reliable.

Guarav,
Good question! Actually for US schools the only ranking that matters really is the US News and World report. So when I write about rankings I am referring to those. Now when you go through the schools, the rankings aren't exactly "absolute" I mean school number 22 can be as good as 15 more or less. But it should give you an idea, and then you will need to do your own research and think about where you want to live, what you want to do, if there is your industry near the school, about the weather, the teaching style... etc. etc.
