Hello there, my name is Max, 23m living in Kiev, Ukraine.
First of all, thank you for reading this and giving an opinion.
I'm planning on taking GMAT exam in December, 2017 and after getting a good score (hopefully) to submit my profile to Harvard before January 3rd, 2018 (Albeit I also consider waiting a few years and strengthening my profile).
On top of that I'll have to apply for a scholarship, because due to the economic problems within my country there is no way most people can afford an education in the US, including myself.
Now, here's general info about me:
I have bachelor's degree in International Law with honors and specialist's degree in the same field.
I have around 2.5 years of work experience - 11 months as a corporate lawyer at a big private company; 10 months as a governmental employee at Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine where I have been working 3 months in analytics and the other 7 in international relations departments; currently working at an international law firm specializing in provision of world-wide corporate services, for the most part offshore company registration and all the services that come along with it.
Apart from the official work experience a year ago I had started a company helping children with autism, the company was started with two partners, in a 3-4 months I have left the company due to some severe in-house problems mostly related to interpersonal communication.
During my study at the university I have participated in a moot court plus a bunch of other events.
At the age of 16 my friend and I had a small business selling protein cocktails during summer at an outdoor gym (not sure if it's relevant). This thing was complete off-the-books little endeavor to earn some side cash tbh.
The questions I'd like to kindly ask are the following:
1. What are my chances to actually be enrolled?
2. If not Harvard, are there any other good b-schools out there you could recommend in my situation (please note that I'm fluent in Russian and English only)?
3. What could I do to strengthen my profile?
Thank you for your time.
