Hi there,
For MiM programmes yes work experience expectations are reduced; that said depending upon when you graduated and when you would apply and potentially begin, it may make a lot of sense to get a job or internship, both for yourself and career, and from an admissions perspective. In terms of competitiveness, you should be able to view class profile info on websites for specific programmes and compare yourself, or contact admissions for info if not. Think about who might write your references, and look at the program application essays and think about your stories for those prompts. Good luck!

Hi Megha1412,

(Quick logistical note for future-- would be great to start your own NEW thread for future posts, fyi instead of adding on to someone else's, for clarity, thanks!)

So you may already know that Stanford's acceptance rate is often 5-6%, and HBS 10-12%.... odds are EXTREMELY difficult and I don't see too much in your profile at present that would help you stand out amongst the exceptional applicants that apply each year, so I would have to say these sound like too much of a reach IMO.... as for Wharton or other top 10 (ish) US schools, some depends upon how the GMAT shakes down (feel free to reach out again after that! and/or for a more thorough consultation at www.mbamission.com/consult), some depends upon how your work experience/career path lays out (it's slightly hard to follow timing etc as described) and your described reasons for the MBA and why now is the time, plus factors such as your essays and references.... how about focusing on the GMAT first and foremost since you can still change/impact that factor, and then assess options. Keep us posted and good luck!
