Hii all,
I am planning to apply to kellogg in R2, was wondering if someone can evaluate my profile.
Nationality: Indian (M-29)
Target: 2Y MBA-Program
GRE:333 (Q170 V163 AW4)
Education:B.Eng in Mechanical.
Undergrad GPA:2.7
Overall Experience:
6 years and 9 months in various domains such as SCM,EPC in steel,EPC in construction.Having 5 years of international experience.
Language:Hindi,Marathi,English,Japanese
Extra Curricular:
Participated in Innovature 2018,Badminton Tournament, at community level.
Represented the team as a Vice Captain in Japan Cricket Association Tournaments.
Steered the Annual College festival as the Event Manager & sponsorship member
Founded the college dance troupe "FROLICS"
Supervised for Blood Donation Camps for 2/3 consecutive years.
Goal:Career Shift to consulting.

Hi , your GRE is competitive, undergrad GPA is ok and I would have preferred if you mentioned about your college( tier 1 or tier 2).
5 years of international work experience makes your profile interesting and creates intrigue. Would be interesting to know what geographies have you working in and how each stint came with its own set of challenges (professional and personal). You have a decent shot at Kellogg if you are able to demonstrate your leadership skills through some stellar stories in your essay. Some thought provoking examples to consider would be how did you resolve conflicts in a diverse group of stakeholders, evolve from an individual contributor to a project leader over the course of 6 years, lead with example, influence senior management with your insights, expedited projects and generated $$ and value for the company.
Your ECs are average. You could introspect and consider any instances where you took initiative outside work during an expatriation, took immersion program to learn a new language or learn about a culture, organized activities in workplace, attended cross cultural training to prepare for your expatriation, organized training for your colleagues in a non formal manner and so on..
Post MBA goals are reasonable but need to have strong reasoning underlining "why consulting" and how will your consulting goal enable you to attain your long term vision (what do you want to do in long term, what is the purpose of your life?).

So your overall profile and GRE will help you compensate for it. On the work front, your work experience seems good. You have 5 years of international experience, which is amazing. You didn't share much here, but I'd like to learn more about your work experience. You will be required to demonstrate your potential, career growth, how you work in a multi-cultural environment, what impact you have made, any innovation you have done, your contribution to the organization, and so on. Your work experience is an important element of your application, and highlighting it impactfully can help you make a convincing argument.
Your ECs are demonstrating some leadership qualities. Is there anything you do regularly outside of work? I'm sure there's something, and please mention it in your apps. Consider something you enjoy doing and talk about it; this will make your apps more interesting. The majority of your work experience should be covered in your resume; therefore you should have something more fascinating to talk about in your applications to bring a live person in the apps, which sets YOU unique. Your post-MBA goals need more elaboration. Overall, you have a good profile and do have a chance; however, I would like to learn more about your work profile to assess your chances better. Kellogg looks for a blend of academic ability, personal character, motivation, leadership ability, interpersonal skills, professional performance, and management potential. It revolves around creating your stories and connecting the overall narrative to Kellogg’s values, community, and goals. You may want to read an article on how to get into Kellogg. You’ll learn what Kellogg looks for in candidates and how to chart your path to success.
