Hello,

Inclined towards Energy sector because of my familiarity and work-ex but also open to get into Finance/General Management post MBA
Schools/Areas of interest:
UTA McCombs: Energy and utilities
Rice, Jones: Energy and utilities
INSEAD: General management/Finance. I believe I have an international outlook and experience that could possibly get me into this.
LBS: General Management/Finance. I like their 15-21 month flexible programme
Judge and Said: General Management, Reputation and 1 year programs.
Stern: Finance. Wallstreet
UCLA: Program in Renewable Energy
Carlson, Minnesota: Keeping this as a safe option. Also, I have lived in Minneapolis for 2.5 years hence it is a familiar location.
ISB, Hyderabad: Reputed 1 yr program and close to home.
Although, I have included US schools, my preference would be towards European schools due to the opportunity costs.
Thanks,
Ajinkya
Hey Ajinkya,
So your GMAT is great! Your grades are very good! Your industry is excellent! As is the fact that you have some goooood solid international experience.
I think your school list is also quite reasonable as well as very well thought out in terms of which schools and why. the only change I'd make is dropping LBS, which is both a far stretch as well as being not a great match. Stern too, can go. A bit easier than LBS, but it has less connections to your industry than a lot of your other schools.
What else can I say dude? Write us some beautiful essays!
