740 - Q48, V44, IR 6 (48 in Quant leaves me with a 67%ile)
I am an Indian female with 3.5 years of work ex (2 years in digital marketing in the Indian startup space; have been working at one of the biggest rating agencies since 1.5 years in a copy editing role). Got a double promotion during the digital marketing stint where two people reported to me.
Undergrad and masters in English Literature from Delhi University (one of the top universities in India). We do not have GPA here but I got First Division in both.
Extra-curricular - Interned with an international NGO for 9 months, working on a project to drive gender equity at the workplace. Two years with the university NCC unit (voluntary military cadet corps, kinda ), was awarded the rank of PO Cadet). Also, volunteered for a corporate CSR program as a spoken English and soft skills teacher for adult learners who were looking for jobs.
I am applying to ISB, National University of Singapore, INSEAD and LBS as I'm slightly more inclined towards 1 to 1.5 year programs. However, that is not the biggest factor.
I'm looking for advice on US schools - which ones can I (realistically) target? I would anyday prefer a good school which provides aid over a great school that doesn't. Also, should the quant percentile be a cause of concern?
You have a perfect GMAT score and you don't need to worry about it at all.
I'd like to understand more details about your work to understand the competitiveness of your profile. It would be easier to advise accordingly.
