Hi dishaawate hope this finds you in good health

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about your profile, mostly because the context behind pursuing your post-graduation from the UK and the multiple short stints in your professional journey are missing, both of which are important for a holistic evaluation. That said, I will still highlight a few key points.
If you have been self-employed or a solopreneur for over 2 years, that’s a considerable duration, and much of the MBA admit decision will depend on what you have achieved in that time. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough visibility into that aspect to comment meaningfully.
You have had several short job stints, so the learnings from each role and your rationale for moving on will be critical in assessing how you operate in a professional environment, particularly your contributions, adaptability, and whether you have maintained strong relationships with past employers (perhaps something your Letters of Recommendation could help clarify).
Your GRE score of 295 is quite low, considering that being self-employed likely gave you some flexibility to manage your schedule. I would strongly recommend targeting a 327+ if you want top business schools to seriously consider your application.

I would be happy to speak with you should you want a candid review over a call.

Best wishes

Dear dishaawate,

While your academic performance has been around average, the postgraduate program abroad certainly adds an interesting dimension to your profile. It also raises a very relevant point that will need to be addressed in your application essays—why you are now aiming for a second master's at this point in your career, especially given your current work experience aligns well with the specialization from your first.

That said, your work experience and extracurriculars are where your profile truly shines. You bring strong diversity through your professional journey, and your extracurriculars reflect self-initiative and long-standing commitment. The volunteering experience, especially your ongoing engagement over the past ten years, is particularly commendable and adds a lot of character to your application.

The only major concern we see at this point is your current GRE score, which appears quite low compared to the median for ISB admits. If retaking the test is an option, we would strongly recommend considering it if you plan to move ahead with the GRE for your application.

At Team FLY, we are a collective of ISB alumni committed to supporting MBA aspirants with profile positioning, essay reviews and interview preparation. Hi dishaawate,

Here is the brief summary of your Profile Evaluation:

Looking at your profile, it’s a strong fit for ISB in terms of post-MBA outcomes, which makes your application attractive to the school. Your work experience is diverse and adds solid value. However, your undergrad CGPA is on the lower side, and your PG score is also below average, which makes the GRE retake essential. Aiming for a 325+ would be important to balance out the academics. You also mentioned a COVID-related break, which is understandable and can be addressed effectively in your story. Focus on connecting your journey clearly through your essays and secure a recommendation from someone who’s directly benefited from your work to build a strong, compelling application.

Best wishes!
