It could be, but there are plenty of MFE programs out there. Some PT as well. Looks like you are pretty open geographically. Might want to check out Chicago. Don't settle though. This is probably the last masters you can do and you want to get a brand boost to help you career wise.

Do you think me already having a master's degree (MBA) would help compensate for my age (28)?

How come you couldn't use your MBA to steer your career into finance?

I have applied to quite a few investment banking positions, no response from any... I am assuming its because my MBA is from LSU which is not a prestigious school.

That is the reason I am trying to get a second masters (Mfin, MFE, etc.) from a top tier school in make my resume more appealing.

Ah I see. IB positions are difficult to get I think compared to normal finance jobs. Don't know for sure but I think European schools don't care that much about age. Check out this one from RSM https://www.rsm.nl/master/msc-programmes ... /overview/.

Good luck

The MBA won't do much for you. I understand why you go it and did it PT, but non T20 programs really don't do much for you career wise unless you are using it as a way to get promoted in a current job.
