I am interested in pursuing the 1 year PGPM in Information Management from SPJIMR. But my past academics has not been great so I wanted to know what are my chances of getting shortlisted.
10th: 78%
Diploma in Computer Engg.: 87%
B.Tech. (IT): 68%
MS in Computer Science: 3.67 GPA/ 4 (equivalent to 90%)
I also have 6 years of Professional work experience as a software developer.
In terms of extra curricular, I have lead some projects in my org. Moreover, I have won project competitions at state and university levels. Assisted a professor for developing research application for visually impaired people, and have also been involved in helping social causes. Have some contribution in college-level sports.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for posting.
- While your academics are not outstanding, you do have a First Division+, and that should be fine. You can further supplement your application with a decent GMAT score later. Your Master's GPA is pretty good, so that will help a lot too.
- Your ECA seems fine. SP Jain, by the way, is quite particular about contribution outside the classroom as well, as is reflected in its essay set.
- Details about your professional responsibilities and achievements is missing. Please include those as well to enable a more holistic evaluation. SP Jain does have quite a few people from IT (in fact, the number of people in their IT specialization is the highest) and appreciates people from this background strongly, so belonging to this pool is not a disadvantage at SP Jain at all (as it may be at some other schools, where IT is an overcrowded pool).

our company idea started in ISB-TEP Program and also worked as Technology for the same program next year.
One of Top 16 teams across the World Invited to the Global Demo Day by Angel Hack.
Presented at AngelHack’s Global Demo Day at San Francisco.
Top 30 startups in India by AICTE.
We are incubated at T-Hub ( Hyderabad).
Projects
1. Virtual tour for Devi sea food(Sea food exports company)
2. Virtual Tours created for T-Hub Phase 1 and Phase 2 (In progress)
3. Augmented Reality walk through for CRPF

1. Vice chairperson for Robotics Club in my college.
2.Freelancer and worked on projects in diverse field including animation , Video editing and Logo Design
