Bachelor of Technology (Electrical Engineering) – (Non-IIT---top 5% in the university) – (2004-2008)-4.0 GPA
Master of Science (Computer Science) – Univ of California, Davis – (2010-2013)-3.6 GPA
Work Experience:
After Undegrad:
Lectureship at Government Engineering College (2008-2010), Member of Placement Club for the students at that college
After Masters:
Software Engineer at Cisco Systems from 2012-present, with one promotion. Leading the team as a senior software engineer, customer facing trying to understand the issues the customer face
Extra Curriculars –
- Volunteering at a certain Engineering College in India for placement guidance, campus preparation and resume review.
- Organizing various events in our Business Unit at Cisco, from Socials or Picnics to hackathon etc.
- Mentoring new hires and Interns
Hobbies -
- Dance (founder of dance/drama club in my undergrad college)
- sports (winner of badminton championships in undergrad, stopped after knee injury)
Achievements:

Sorry but these are way too high schools for you.
Aim for target schools between ranks 25 & 35, & safety schools between 35 & 50.

The reality is that anyone applying to B school from India with a 720 is in a crowded space. That being said-- it helps that you are female-- as there are far less Indian females in the MBA pipeline-- and also you have some good work experience with Cisco. I think with your background you could be competitive for marketing roles in the tech space. The good news is that you can find these opportunities at almost every MBA program and it not something that you can only do at these very top programs you list. The bad news-- is that the programs you list are very competitive-- and your stats may make it hard-- so while I never say never-- and I have had success with clients from India with stats lower than yours-- I think you should take a scholarship/target/reach approach to your school selection. And by this I mean-- have some schools where you are a strong scholarship candidate-- your GMAT is 30 points or more over the average-- so look at schools with an avg GMAT at 690 or under that has good tech and marketing. For example-- you would present well at all the Canadian business schools and look at programs like Rotman and Ivey and others. Foster in the US has awesome tech connections. Then also find some programs -- maybe like Fuqua--apply Early-- or UNC Kenan-Flagler or Kelley or Darden or Olin or Georgetown where you feel that you have a good chance of getting in and apply in the earliest possible round. Finally- while it will be a reach- pick a few schools where you would hope to be admitted--H/S/W and really figure out which are the best fit in advance-- here's how you can research programs from afar:https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com/5-tips-connecting-dream-mba-program-india/ and then only apply to the 2 or 3 where you feel the best fit.
