- Do i need to attempt GMAT again?
- If yes, what happens if i get a lower score?
- What all do i need to prepare/keep handy to apply at ISB?

I am currently a Vice President at Goldman Sachs with 6.5 years of experience in a business strategy/change management role and also regional lead of BI for my department. I also held many leadership positions at both School and College - Director of Rotaract Club [Class XI], Cultural Secretary [Class XII], President of English Club [Year II], Minister of Entrepreneurship [Year III]. I love being on stage and also emcee/host events at times out of my interest, and i am learnign to be a professional Salsa and Kizomba dancer.
On a side note my primary reason for doing an MBA is to shift fields, and for a better package boost.
(I am also conflicted if MBA is the best move for me given my experience - it should be a good return on both time and money...but im happy to table this conversation for later.)
[*]Dear
etperferendis,
Your profile stands out on multiple aspects. While your academic performance has been about average, you have secured a
strong GMAT score, and where your profile truly shines is in your
extracurricular involvement throughout your journey and your
work experience, where over the past 6.5 years you have been part of
high-impact and leadership-oriented roles.
We personally believe you
need not retake the GMAT and should instead focus on
weaving your story effectively through the admission essays so that you can put your best foot forward for the ISB application. Your current profile already has a strong foundation, and the key will be to bring out your motivations, career transitions, and leadership experiences clearly.
Further, to help you reflect on whether an MBA is the right next step for you, we would be happy to connect and have a detailed discussion to better understand your goals and motivations and share our thoughts accordingly.
Wishing you the very best for your journey ahead.
