Overall, a very competitive profile. Your academic track record and CA background add strong credibility

Essays and recommendations need to be airtight. If they clearly highlight your impact, leadership, and community work, you’ll have a very good shot in Round 2.

Harshita1049 - your profile definitely has strengths.

Please see if you can improve the GMAT score, considering your slightly lower work-ex (~2.5 years). Even a 10-20 point improvement would work well.

Also make sure to have a strong narrative in your essays.

All the best!

Arvind

Hi Harshita1049,

An improvement in you GMAT score will be helpful. However, if that is not something you are looking at, focus entirely on putting forth a narrative that connects the dots in your story - the key points to address are: why you need the PGP, what your goals are, and what strengths make you deserving.

Hi Harshita1049,

You have a strong and well-rounded profile for ISB Round 2. As a Chartered Accountant with over two years of experience in a CFO’s office, you bring strong analytical and business fundamentals — qualities that align well with what ISB values in its candidates. Your academic record (95% and 96%) reinforces your consistency and intellectual rigour.

What also stands out is your involvement in community service and heritage evangelism, which adds meaningful depth and individuality to your story. Together, these experiences show both professional competence and personal initiative.

To make the most of your profile, your application should highlight leadership, impact, and how your diverse interests have shaped your perspective. Let’s schedule a free appointment to refine your narrative and craft a focused ISB application strategy that brings your strengths to the forefront. Hi Harshita1049
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, your academics are excellent and 665 on the GMAT is within range for ISB. The CFO office exposure is a big plus, it shows visibility into strategy, financial planning, and decision-making, which AdComs at ISB values highly. The heritage evangelism angle is also quite unique and can really help you stand out if you connect it to your leadership or storytelling in essays.

That said, ISB typically looks for applicants with clear impact and progression, so make sure you highlight specific contributions, any process improvements, strategic initiatives, or cross-functional projects you’ve led. With 2.5 years of experience, your impact narrative will matter as much as your title.

To give you a sharper evaluation, could you share a few more details, what exactly does your role in the CFO’s office involve. Also, can you share more about your community service, what cause, your role, and how consistent your involvement has been?

I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help!
No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.
