Hi utkarsh025

- LBS might require a somewhat higher GRE score (320+) and Imperial will have GPA requirements that may pose a challenge (see here - they specify a minimum GPA of 8.5 for Indian applicants)
- Marshall is a possibility basis your GRE score, but the average work-ex there is 28 months+, and average GPA around 3.5 Review the possibilities basis this.
- Carlson has an average GMAT of over 700 for the program, so a GRE of 312 with no work-ex to compensate may not be enough.
- While your ECA are appreciable, they matter relatively less for MSc/MS in Analytics programs. ECAs matter more for MiM/early career MBA programs.
- McCombs too will be a challenge at the current GRE score.

Given this, would suggest that you look into a GRE retake and try and achieve an overall score of 320+, and also reconsider some options such as Imperial altogether. Your Quant score is already solid at 168. Try and improve verbal a bit (yes, analytics programs do look at the overall score as well, though Quant is of course higher in priority for them). There are also several other MSc Analytics programs you could apply to where you would be competitive with your GRE score (e.g. UT Dallas, as just one example, but not giving more as don't know your selection criteria). Request you not to take this as criticism - we are only trying to highlight options for you to help you take the right decision, and save time/money/effort.

Hope this helps. Feel free to come back with more queries as needed.

Universities will not reject you based on IELTS in the UK but will give you a ‘conditional offer’ - basically you must pass the IELTS requirement to matriculate.

7.44 in India I believe is equivalent to a high 2:2 in the UK (or US GPA 3.0), is that right? Do double check with your institution.

UK schools are rather particular with the 2.1 (US GPA 3.3 requirement), but programs desperate for applicants may still waive that requirement. Imperial will certainly not fall in that group, and let alone LBS.

My advise is to consider the GMAT - I see your Quant skills are great. Non native speakers tend to do better on the GMAT (in terms of percentile), than the GRE, that’s what I think.

As for what other universities. It really depends on what you’re looking for, job function industry and location wise.
