FightToSurvive
Thanks for your kind words Jon.

Would you consider my case for the following schools and please assume THAT I have stellar essays as I plan to have you as my consultant:
1. Tepper
2. Ross
3. Tuck
4. Fuqua
5. Kenan flager
6. Stern
7. Kelley

Your advice is genuinely appreciated.

Ha!
I am truly flattered!
:)

Let me say first, that the best thing to do is to talk with your consultant who will know your resume and experience intimately. But I can say that right now if you apply with this current GMAT score, it still is a bit tough for a list. You have only schools for example in which the average GMAT is higher than yours. And that's a first red flag.

The first question is: How many school will you apply to? (My suggestion: LOTS) Let's go with a higher end number. Let's say you were to apply to 6 schools in R1. I'd make a list that might look something like this:
1. Two schools of your choice from the Top 10 schools on your list
2. Kelly, Kenan-Flagler
3. Babson

And then maybe one more form the 10-20 range. I feel like that would be a pretty reasonable strategy. What's also good, is that if you make this by R1 (which I urge you to endeavor to do) you can tweak your strategy for R2 upwards or downwards based a bit on the results you will begin to see (you will likely not get all final results, but you may have some idea of if you are getting interviews or not).

And if you are planning on working with us, then don't wait. There's no advantage to taking your time! Because we can already get started on the strategic stuff at least.

Just tell Lauren I sent you :)

Best,
Jon
