Kindly evaluate my profile and suggest target schools
Demographics: Age 29, Male, Indian
GMAT: 760 (Q50,V44) TOEFL: 111
Education: B.E in Information Science, VTU, Karnataka- 82% (First class with Distinction, top 5% in the state), Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMT-G in Finance- 7.44 CGPA, Certified FRM
Work Exp: 5.5 years. 2 years in Infosys pre-masters. 3.5 years in Citibank Analytics as Senior Analyst. Have won 4-5 professional awards
Extra-curriculars: Football captain for a professional club for 5+ years. Project co-ordinator for an NGO having volunteered for 3 years
Student co-ordinator of International Relations Club at IMT. Many sports and debates awards
Post MBA goals: To get into general finance or leadership development programs at International banks. Move from specialist to generalist finance functions
I am targeting the below schools:
Cornell 1Y, Kellogg 1Y, Columbia, Stern, Wharton, MIT, Ross and Booth
Please let me know your thoughts

Hey Jay,
So overall you have a very good profile from what I can see here. Great job, great experience, great GMAT and TOEFL. The only real weakness is that your school is not IIT/NIT. But I think we can forgive that
Now since you are pretty much focusing on Top10 schools in the US, I would just say that it is to your advantage to apply to more rather than less and sooner rather than later. Because even if your profile is very good, things can get REAL competitive at Top 10 schools esp. for Indian candidates.
Which is ALSO why it is soooooo important for you to work on your story to make it awesome. Meaning your goals, your uniqueness, your passion, etc.
so basically, right now: it is time to get MOVING on those essays
