Future Goals: Transition into a Product Management role at one of the tech companies.
A) Do I stand any chance at the M-7(HBS, GSB, Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Sloan)?
B) Should I re-take the GMAT?730 seems to be the norm these days and that 5 on IR isn't too helpful.
C) Anything else I can do to increase my chances
Thanks very much!
Hey there,
Great to hear from you!
So first of all, normally a 730 is good. Now for you, it might be a bit different, being "Yet another brown male" plus the fact of the expectation of an improvement since the last application. Will you have a shot at M7 with your current score? Yes. Will you have a better one with a higher score? Yes.
Now you have to decide when and how and how much...
Now to really dig deep into your profile and chances I need a LOT more info from you! (and I invite you to fill out a form for a Free Consultation here:

But the short of it from what I can see with my current information is that you have a great profile, but a common one.
Which means:
- Apply to more schools
- Expand your range to Top20
- Write an amazing passionate and original application.
Do that, and you will get the best results possible.
And probably a good place to start is to send in your prior applications for a Ding review.
Best,
Jon
