740 - Q48, V44, IR 6 (48 in Quant leaves me with a 67%ile)

I am an Indian female with 3.5 years of work ex (2 years in digital marketing in the Indian startup space; have been working at one of the biggest rating agencies since 1.5 years in a copy editing role). Got a double promotion during the digital marketing stint where two people reported to me.

Undergrad and masters in English Literature from Delhi University (one of the top universities in India). We do not have GPA here but I got First Division in both.

Extra-curricular - Interned with an international NGO for 9 months, working on a project to drive gender equity at the workplace. Two years with the university NCC unit (voluntary military cadet corps, kinda ), was awarded the rank of PO Cadet). Also, volunteered for a corporate CSR program as a spoken English and soft skills teacher for adult learners who were looking for jobs.

I am applying to ISB, National University of Singapore, INSEAD and LBS as I'm slightly more inclined towards 1 to 1.5 year programs. However, that is not the biggest factor.

I'm looking for advice on US schools - which ones can I (realistically) target? I would anyday prefer a good school which provides aid over a great school that doesn't. Also, should the quant percentile be a cause of concern?

Hi there,

Overall from the limited info here your profile is looking pretty solid, though I'm not sure if I'm following your work experience, now you are copy editing? Or that was first? That could lead to questions in moving from more dynamic managerial experience at the startup going to copy editing.... but beyond that looks like a good foundation to your profile. Have you considered Oxford & Cambridge as slightly safer 1 year UK options perhaps? As for the US, looking at schools outside the top 10/12 or so (US News ranking) would give you best chances and better chances for scholarships, fyi. Beyond that it depends upon what you are looking for in a school, check out our guide to selecting schools at: https://shop.mbamission.com/products/se ... ba-program
