WE: 3 years at a F10 global company in a leadership supply chain rotational program - where I managed a portfolio of contracts totaling over $1B in annual spend and managed contractors on a construction of a $20B manufacturing plant. I also received my supply chain management certification (CPSM) during this role.
As of last year I'm now working as a finance partner at smaller company ($3B revenue) - no direct reports, but I have a dotted line report to the CFO. Responsibilities include providing market reports to the CFO and CEO and running the impact of mergers in market and looking at potential acquisitions.
GMAT: 730 (48Q 42V)
GPA: 3.4 (majored in Economics at a top 50 university) I took several courses in computer science (data structures, discrete math) and minored in Accounting
EC: Was a recruiter for 2 years (at my previous F10 company) for MIT and Harvard. Traveled multiple times a year to Cambridge for career fairs to recruit and interview PHD and MBA students. Also gave presentations to certain MIT clubs that my previous employer sponsored. (I feel a deep connection to MIT, hence it is my top pick)
I started a community mentoring program to help students apply to colleges and get connected with individuals in a career they are interested in.
Built my own iPhone app to help charities receive donations, but the app failed last year due to insufficient funding. Before the failure I had an operating LLC with a team of developers.

Hi there, and thanks for writing! You have a well-rounded profile, with substantive work experience, good academics, and good outside involvement. For you, I think that a couple of keys to your candidacy will be to 1.) highlight fully your professional and personal impact on your resume and application 2.) explain what drives your goals - why do you want to pursue consulting? and 3.) executing your applications with excellence, including making a strong case for why each program is a strong fit for you based on its culture and resources within/outside of the classroom.
