Hello Everyone,
I am looking to apply for the ISB Flagship PGP for the 2028 cohort. Here is my profile. Please suggest an ideal target GMAT score.
1) Demographic- 27, Male, from Kolkata WB. Non- IT Background, Current Industry- Education
2) Education-
- Bachelor’s in Business Management & Finance from Murdoch University (Graduated with Distinction)- With Merit-based scholarship
- Diploma in Commerce from Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Singapore(Class topper in a class of 350)
- 10th Standard- 9 CGPA
3) Work Experience- 6 years of experience by March 2027
Currently working as Chief of Staff / Vertical Lead at LaunchPilot, an early-stage edtech startup(Jul 2025- Present), reporting directly to the CEO and leading growth, GTM, and cross-functional execution initiatives. Reduced CAC by 65% ($1050 → $380), doubled customer LTV (₹2.5L → ₹4–5L), and improved marketing efficiency 3x+ (ROAS 3 → 10) through GTM, pricing, retention, and funnel optimization initiatives within the initial 10 months.
Previously worked as Program Manager, International Operations at Great Learning(Jul 2023- Jul 2025), where I led international operations, product initiatives, and stakeholder management across India and US university partners, improving collections, referrals, and retention metrics.
Earlier, joined Mentogram (Jul 2021- Jul- 2023), an early-stage Singapore-based Ed-tech, as a founding member and Business Operations Lead in Singapore, helping scale the startup from 0→1, driving early revenue growth, leading cross-functional teams, and managing strategic sales and operational initiatives.
4) Extra-Curriculars / International Exposure / Awards
- Volunteer work with NGOs focused on education for underprivileged children
- Worked across India, Singapore, and US markets/stakeholders, and represented organizations at international events in Singapore, Dubai, and Indonesia.
- Recipient of the “Most Valued Performer” award at Great Learning and an undergraduate scholarship at Murdoch University
- Avid Runner and Hiker with interests in Formula 1 and Travelling.
I'm also looking to apply for INSEAD, Cambridge, HEC, and LBS. Any advice would be appreciated.

What really stands out to me is how you have changed employers exactly every 2 years, which is actually a good amount of time to spend with a startup to experience the dynamism as well as observe its growth potential. Is this intentional, I wonder!
You have a solid international focus in your work, not just by virtue of your education, which already shows you have decent experience being in global groups, but also from a work standpoint where I believe you may have handled projects around growing edtech businesses in global markets (thus getting exposure to regional nuances gloablly). This is pretty good experience. One thing that I would want to remind you is that profile reviewers and adcoms do not really care that much about the number metrics, as many people believe, but would instead be more curious about the problems you solved for a company during its growth phase or challenging phase. Whats your story? Since you also mention having been a founding member yourself, that experience would probably be the most interesting one from the admissions POV to speak about, including both the successes and failures that led to what came after in your career.
What are your goals? Goals clarity will matter a lot. Your profile can go in many directions including consulting, consumer tech, edtech strategy, venture ecosystem, growth leadership or entrepreneurship. If the goals sound generic, the application loses sharpness quickly.
I feel a 685+ will keep you in a solid position if the rest of the application is done well. For European programs, I may need to understand your work experience in more detail, so feel free to reach out should you want a deeper discussion.
