Hi there-
Greatly appreciate a quick review of my profile. My primary concern is around my work experience, given I changed fields 3 years into my career and the fact I'd be 28 at matriculation. My target schools are: HBS, Wharton, Tuck
American, 3.8 from top US regional. 720 GMAT, Good EC at uni, President of an on campus charity and we did some great things. Was also President of a different org and involved with a few others, including student government.
Out of college, spent three years in a management development program with some good responsibilities and led a few high profile projects. In my last year I was sent overseas to work in the UK. After my last year, decided the experience was great but the industry wasn't for me, and moved into a support staff role for a management consultancy. Developed a strategy and system for them, and moved on doing consultancy support for one of the elite consultancies (bear in mind I've been in the UK since I was sent over for my first employer). Also am a director of a local charity and have been for 1.5 years.
Main questions are, as I mentioned about my age at matriculation, my interesting work history, and in particular the support staff role I've had for the past few years. While I feel its been great, do you think these programs would look down on positions that didnt have direct reports and supported rather than were involved in consultancy?
