· Post-MBA goals:
my career has been great, no regrets, so much learning but I have gone from IT, to Marketing (media and advertisements) to Corporate communications. Al though they have a lot in common when it comes to skills I had to use but they are so different otherwise. I want to build a specialization for myself now, I want to go from an associate who can work on any project in the company to a manager of a specific team/project. I also am looking to get into consulting, as Problem solving, analyzing, advising and interacting with people are my forte and I am confident I will do well and enjoy consulting.
· Target schools: I plan to apply both in US and Canada. US as they have the best B-schools, but if I cant get into there I prefer staying in Canada itself.
Dream schools - Harvard, Wharton, Kellogs, Stern and Tepper
Canada schools - Rotman and Schulich
May be - INSEAD, LBS
· Any specific questions you would like answered by our team:
- Can my GPA from undergrad still be an issue or will my GMAT, post grad diploma and part time MBA GPA's compensate for it ?
- Should I mention my Part-time MBA on my profile or choose to keep it out as I didn't complete it?
- My target schools are they achievable or should I research into different league of schools in USA?
- Rotman says you need a minimum 3.0 GPA in undergrad, is that a deal breaker or can I speak with admissions, share my profile and may be they find me eligible?
Thank you so much team and sorry for the long post!
