Undergrad University: Arguably no.1 in the country
Major: Double majors in Economics and Political Science
Age: 24 at matriculation
CGPA: 3.18 (Last four semesters 3.7; First two years were off due to family circumstances; I was the only one to care for my ailing grandfather who passed away during my third semester)- Furthermore, my uni was simply not generous with grades. ------ This is the only thing I am concerned about.
WE: 3 years at matriculation
GMAT: 710 (retaking in 3 weeks since i know i can improve to 730-740 hopefully)
Recs: I can assuredly count on my recs to be strong.
Essays: I believe I have a really unique story to tell on those and have hired a renowned counselor with a good track record for M7 to make sure they are presented as such
Extracurriculars: Worked on multiple social projects across the country. One of them aimed to promote entrepreneurship among underprivileged
women and children by assessing feasibility of initiatives, equipping them with necessary skills and providing funding for launch (10 impact cases in 2 months. The other one was based on providing free sign language classes in order to make the average person better understand the plights of the deaf
community (was also reached out to by the national Deaf Reach organization)
Target Schools: Hbs, Wharton, Kellogg, Sloan, Fuqua, Haas, and Ross.

You have the makings of a good profile, but I would maybe wait a year or so because:
(1) GPA is low, even with the explanation it still puts some pressure on the rest of your application
(2) GMAT score is good but not phenomenal especially with the low GPA. If you can get a 740+ on your retake, that would definitely help
(3) 3 years of WE by matriculation is also low. That means more emphasis is placed on your GPA. Another year (or two) of WE would be additive.
The extracurricular picture looks promising, but would need to learn more about the depths of the accomplishments.

Hi, thanks for the honest input. I agree with what you have to say but I can't wait another year to apply due to some circumstances. Hence, I am focusing more on my GMAT now to at least boost it to a 730.
