mr_tiwwlf hope this finds you wellI would like to think that if you completed a 2-year MBA in India from one of the IIMs, it is at the discretion of the respective US business schools to determine whether they consider your Indian degree equivalent to a US MBA. In the past, some IIM grads who sought positions in the US without a US MBA were asked to file their visa application based on not having an advanced degree if they had less than 5 years of professional experience, despite holding an Indian MBA. It's best you discuss with the schools directly to get a read on the logistics. Regardless, your need for a second degree in management will still be rigorously evaluated by US business schools.
The REAL problem that I see is that you recently completed your last MBA in 2023. This could suggest an inability to make well-thought-out decisions. Think deeply and construct a compelling narrative to explain why you need an MBA so soon after completing a previous management degree. Show your research. Why are you so interested in exploring the tech investing scene in the USA, and what is holding you back despite your current credentials? While your progression narrative has the potential to be strong, during your applications, go deeper into your experiences to present a perspective that is mature and well-calculated, balancing your fast-paced trajectory (or pivots) with thoughtful reflection.
Last but not the least, get a high GMAT score.
