Hi everyone,
I recently gave GMAT FE and got 675. I am not quite happy with the score as this is my second attempt and I received exactly same score before. I don't want to spend more time on GMAT as I gave my best.
I am a female, graduated from IIT with 7.4 CGPA and currently working at Amex since 4 years. I am planning to apply for MBA in some of the Europe B schools like HEC, INSEAD and T15-25 US schools. Please help me with the chances of getting an admit as well as some scholarship.

Hi avs11! Some questions for you to consider:
1. What specific role and company do you want right after your MBA?
2. What is the single most impressive achievement of your career so far?
3. Can you showcase mentorship, team leadership, impact, or community involvement compellingly?
INSEAD takes a holistic approach; your academics, professional achievements, international exposure, leadership, and personal story all significantly impact your chances. In the past, we’ve had the opportunity to work with a few applicants who received admission offers from INSEAD with a wide range of scores, and some got scholarships too. Scores include: 605 GMAT FE, Classic GMAT scores: 630, 640, 650, 670, 680, 700, 710, and many more.
A 675 GMAT FE score is decent. A well-crafted story, strong essays, and strategic applications in R1 can be the key. Most European B-schools like INSEAD, HEC, IESE, etc., award scholarships based on a mix of merit (GMAT + profile strength) and need. A 675 is borderline for big merit scholarships. That said, we would like to learn more about your academic background, extracurricular activities, professional experience, international experiences, leadership skills, and personal journey to provide a more tailored assessment of your profile and your chances of admission at HEC, INSEAD, and other schools. Strong scores are just a strong defense for your candidacy. Your 675, the IIT and AMEX pedigree, and your being a woman applicant lend you some strengths. The UG GPA is average, though.
You have a fair chance for T15-25 schools in the US and at HEC. INSEAD may be iffy.
Your chances of admission and a scholarship would require you to be strategic and pragmatic, not just in your school selection but also on how you package the rest of your candidacy elements.
If you are targeting R1 and still haven't started on your applications, you are running a sprint now. With barely 50 odd days left, the speed needs to pick up, and you may have a lot on your plate.
