Thank you so much for responding! CrackAdmission, admitStreet, paragw.

I work with Europe businesses and have been involved in 1-2 projects which were long term(8-10 months), focusing on automation of legacy processes and I drove them end to end, starting from stakeholder engagement to development and release and have positive business impact.

University was NMIMS, Mumbai.

Yes this was my first GMAT attempt. Section wise raw scores: Q81, V82, DI79. If at all your advice is for me to reattempt, how much time should I take as a break between two attempts?

Hi LycheeR
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, you have got a strong foundation, solid academics and meaningful work experience at a Fortune 20 energy company. Your role as an IT Business Analyst with exposure to European markets and ownership of long-term automation projects shows real responsibility and stakeholder engagement early in your career. Driving projects end-to-end and demonstrating measurable business impact are exactly the kind of achievements that help you stand out for your target schools. You have got strong academic consistency and leadership depth.

If you plan to retake your GMAT exam, give yourself 4–6 weeks of focused prep. Don’t rush a retake too soon, it’s better to take the test once more with a fresh, deliberate approach. You can also target schools like, Rotman and ESADE.

I’d be happy to offer you a free profile review for your target programs to see where you stand and how to boost your chances, happy to help!
No pressure, no strings - just helpful insights on where you stand and how you can strengthen your chances.

Good Luck!

Hi LycheeR,

Your focus should entirely be on working towards improving your GMAT score; a 615 is fairly low for all the schools you are considering. Additionally, your focus should be more on your achievements from college and work; achievements from your school days are dated and may not create a huge impact.

In addition to the above, you should spend some time deliberating on what your career goals while ensuring they sync well with your experience as an IT Business Analyst.

We will be happy to conduct a proper strategy session; please drop an inquiry on https://www.expertsglobal.com/mba-admissions-consulting

All the best!

Hello!

Below is an evaluation of your profile for MiM/MBA programs:

GMAT:
A 615 on the GMAT Focus is on the modest side for ultra-competitive schools but still workable for strong mid-tier programs — especially given your solid academics and leadership background. You can absolutely apply with this score if your essays effectively bring out your people skills, analytical mindset, and career clarity.

Academics:
Excellent academic record — 10 CGPA (X), 94.2% (XII), and 3.91/4 GPA in B.Tech (CS) demonstrate top-notch consistency. Your quantitative readiness is proven, so adcoms will not doubt your ability to handle the academic rigor of top MiM/MBA courses.

Work Experience:
28 months as an IT Business Analyst at a Fortune 20 energy company gives you a strong global brand and exposure to large-scale digital transformation projects. Focus on quantifying your impact — highlight instances of stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, or technology-driven process improvements. This can help your experience stand out beyond the typical “BA” narrative.

Extracurriculars:
Your Head Girl role, multiple debate and music competitions, and college leadership in ACM, Women’s Development, and MUN all point to strong interpersonal and leadership skills — a big plus. The vocal classical diploma adds cultural depth and personal flair. Together, these create a very well-rounded and versatile profile.

Overall Assessment:
A solid, leadership-driven candidate with a mix of analytical and people-centric strengths.

The GMAT 615 will keep you competitive for schools in the next tier down from the ultra-elites.

Focus your essays on leadership maturity, communication skills, and a clear professional direction (especially how you wish to pivot or grow within tech/business roles).

Target Schools:

India: SPJIMR GMP, ISB Early Entry Option (reach but possible with strong essays)

Europe: ESCP, EMLyon, IE, EDHEC, ESSEC (MSc in Management or Strategy), SKEMA

UK: Warwick, Durham, Nottingham, Bath

Singapore: Nanyang MiM, SMU MiM

Canada: Ivey MSc, Schulich, McGill Desautels
All of the above value strong communication, leadership, and analytical potential — areas where you clearly excel.
With an impactful application narrative, you can definitely convert competitive offers this year.

LycheeR - thanks for the updates.

Prior to your retake, make sure to address gaps from your first attempt e.g. section/ sub-section wise etc. so you can strengthen the score.

Also make sure to have a strong narrative covering your experiences, career goals, and how/ why an MBA fits in at this juncture.

Selecting the right mix of schools would require further discussion. Feel free to reach out here if you'd like to discuss.

All the best!

Regards,
Arvind
